Winglift and Continest

Continest is an innovative, foldable container solution specially developed for temporary infrastructure use. Continest use their containers in a variety of sectors, including the defence and military industry, disaster management, healthcare, events and festivals, housing, education, construction, and commercial enterprise. By using the Winglift container carrier system they had the possibility to streamline their on- and offloading process. 

As of today’s pressing issues regarding migration, border violations and terrorism, Continest serves as a rapid and compact solution. Providing a package that allows quick transportation and easy installation whenever and wherever it is needed. When using the Winglift container carrier system to load onto a C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft they recognized the simplicity of implementing the Winglift in their on- and offloading process. This implementation could enhance the process and simplify the onloading of several of their folded containers in the limited space of the aircraft.

Continest Technologies Plc. developed a rapid response system which can be deployed quickly and efficiently. The system is useful for disaster management since it was designed to fit all response necessities quickly. The applied technology is based on foldable containers which are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Due to foldability the system can be transported rapidly and set up fast. The solution offers an 80% cut in logistic and storage costs, and a similar reduction of CO₂ and GHG emissions.
