When towing a 20″ container with the WingLift, the typical turning radius is about 10 meters if the rear corner units are locked. To make tighter turns, the rear wheels can be unlocked and guided manually by two people, but this should only be done on smooth surfaces like concrete or asphalt, and with caution.
The turning radius is flexible and can be adjusted to suit different needs, offering full 360-degree maneuverability.
The WingLift can move a container in any direction with only manpower rotating it 360 degrees around its own axel.
The WingLift is an ideal cargo transport solution for tight spaces with low ceilings, where overhead cranes aren’t practical. Its compact design and 360° turning capability ensure smooth maneuvering in narrow spaces.
The unit allows forward/backward pulling, full rotation, and lateral sliding in all directions. This flexibility enables efficient stacking, side by side, vertically, or against walls maximizing storage and warehouse workflow.
Yes, but the transition between the ramp and the ground can cause the underside of the container to scrape, especially on steeper slopes.
The load bearing capacity is essential. The ground must bear the pressure of the wheels and there is a risk that the wheels and the crew will slip.
The speed and weight depend on the load and road conditions. For the WingLift you can choose between two models of wheels – Solid and Pneumatic up to 12 km/h. If the weight is more than 12 tons, the maximum speed is 6 km/h regardless of wheel type.
Yes, if any of the lower ISO holes or corners of the container are damaged, transportation is restricted.
Distance depends on load, speed and terrain surface. At maximum load, the tires on the WingLift can become overheated with long distance transportation.
WingLift has the operating temperature range:
-20°C — +50°C (-4°F — 122°F).
In higher temperatures, the tires will get overheated faster, and in lower temperatures, the hydraulic system gets heavy to work with.
Wheel replacement depends on the container load, surface and road condition as well as the travel distance. Check the tires’ condition every now and then for wear, cracks or bad condition of the rubber.
WingLift works best on flat surfaces, but can also be used on growel ground. However, watch out for deep water puddles and adjust the speed depending on the ground condition.
WingLift allows lifting heights of either 350 mm, 500 mm or 750 mm depending on the model.
The W40-S is the standard model. The W40-H is specially made for tight spaces, with the H standing for Hercules (C-130). The H model is 164 mm more narrow in total than the standard model.
The WingLift is equipped with two stop blocks for occasional use.
When attached to a towing vehicle, braking relies on the towing vehicle’s braking system.
The WingLift can operate on any hard surface, such as asphalt or concrete roads.
However, for regular use on public roads, the maximum speed is 12 km/h, and local traffic regulations must be observed.
The WingLift can be used on any container or equipment with ISO-fix corners to hook into and a vertical beam for bracing.

Type: DIN 51524 Part3, Cat HVLP.
Other similar standard hydraulic oil will be a good fit for the WingLift.
Yes, if the Flat Rack is equipped with ISO-corners and a vertical beam for bracing.
Recommended air pressure is 6.2 ± 2.7 Bar. (90 ± 39 Psi) depending on the application area/load.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Our products are delivered across Europe and to most countries around the globe. For shipping options and a quote specific to your location, please contact our sales team.
We usually sell direct, but in some countries we have supportive distributors. These include the US, UK and Germany.
All orders are shipped complete with WingLift, mounting hardware kit and installation instructions. These parts are all individually packaged for protection against damage during shipment.
For shipments, usually sent by sea freights, a wooden crate is commonly used. For transport by truck or air, the system is typically packed on a pallet and wrapped in plastic.
Please contact us to determine the most suitable packaging option based on your shipping method.
Containers can be positioned tightly on the sides where the WingLift units are not mounted. On the side where the WingLift is mounted (typically the short side), a clearance of around two meters is required, depending on the model.
